LOS ALJIBES winery is located in Chinchilla de Montearagón (Albacete), in the South East of Spain. “Bodega los Aljibes” is a modern and functional winery surrounded by 175 hectares of vineyard, focused on creating high quality wine using the latest technology and is located at a height of over 950 meters, a Chateau in the plateau of La Mancha. The wines are made from grape varieties such as Tempranillo, Petit Verdot, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Garnacha, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. The wine making process takes place in 20 stainless steel deposits with a computer control system. Alternatively, the process also takes place in 18 tanks made of French oak with capacity for up to 10,000 litres. Finally, the wine ages in one of the less than 3-year-old 1,600 barrels. In 2007, Aljibes expects to achieve 500,000 bottles, which will be labelled under the VT Castilla Wine.
