The BODEGAS CAMPANTE winery was founded by Manuel Mendez Villanueva in the 40’s in Prado de Miño (Province of Ourense) in the heart of the region which gives its name to one of the first D.O. in Spain: The Ribeiro. Nowadays, the company also owns the wine cellar ADEGAS MORGADIO located in the RIAS BAIXAS D.O. Finca Morgadio was founded in 1984 being a pioneer in promoting the worldwide known Albariño wines. Bodegas Campante also produces matured herbal coffee and white liquors in its own traditional distillery.
